Every house has a founding fortune. Kopegg's arrived on four legs.
Kopegg began, as the best things do, with love, and with one dog who had Marta’s whole heart.
Marta had always been drawn to two worlds: fashion and business. She studied both, developing an eye for color, pattern, and the small details that transform a garment into a character, with her dog, more often than not, curled up nearby. She knew she wanted to create something of her own, but for years, the idea had no name and no clear shape. It was simply waiting for its reason.
Then she lost her, suddenly and far too soon.
In the quiet afterward, Marta didn’t want to move on so much as she wanted to keep going. She wanted to create something that would carry her memory, and to pour into it the same love and care she had once given her. That is where Kopegg was born.
It is also why Kopegg is so full of color. The clothes were never meant to be merely beautiful. They were meant to feel joyful, the way she made everything feel joyful.
Today, that love lives on in thoughtful silhouettes, intricate linings, and unexpected details that give every Kopegg piece a character of its own.
Because what they wear is never just clothing. It is an expression of who they are, and how deeply they are loved.
The Inside Story
Slip inside one of our coats and you’ll find it: a lining of intricate, joyful pattern, hidden entirely from public view. It serves no purpose except delight, which is to say, the most important purpose of all.
The great houses always understood this. The inside of a garment is where you show off to an audience of one. We make ours for an audience of two: you, and a dog who will never tell.

Every Kopegg piece is designed down to the smallest detail: considered, refined, and made to be kept, worn, swapped, photographed, and eventually argued over in someone’s will. Nothing generic. Nothing rushed. Nothing you’ll see on every dog at the park.
